We have started with an aim, let us push it and remind the disadvantaged class that we are working towards a world without discrimination.

1st March – World Civil Defence Day
The World Civil Defence Day is a day to pay tribute to the efforts, sacrifices and accomplishments of the national services responsible to fight against disasters. Let us take some time and appreciate them.
This year the theme of the day is “Our children Our responsibility”. We can appreciate the people who have helped us through the disasters our country has seen and the ones fighting the disaster we are now facing.
3rd March – World Wildlife Day
According to Wikipedia – “The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), in its resolution UN 68/205 proclaimed 3rd March to be a day to celebrate and raise awareness about the flora and fauna on Earth. It was the day that the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) was adopted in 1973.”
This year’s theme of the day is “Life below Water: for People and Planet”. People in India still throw garbage in oceans and seas, take a step and make a public promise that you, as an individual will not do that. Try and help others not do it too.
3rd March – World Hearing Day
World hearing day is held each year to raise awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss.
This day is meant to help promote hearing care around the globe and healthier hearing practices for it. Maybe for a day you can hit the mute button and make content that people with hearing difficulties can consume easily.
8 March – International Women’s Day
Show up with all your femininity and celebrate women’s day. Celebrate your achievements and those of other women. On this day take some time to appreciate how far we’ve come and how far we still need to go.
11 March – No Smoking Day (Second Wednesday of March)
No Smoking Day awareness movement first started in 1984 in the United Kingdom. Since then it has been an annual celebration event and to try to save people from the harmful effects of smoking.
It is a great day to raise awareness about the effects on one’s own self and others.
15 March – World Consumer Rights Day
Customer Rights day, as the name goes, is for consumers to have more awareness about their rights and the kind of products they use. In addition to that, it aims to highlight what consumers want and need from the connected world.
You can read up the recent cases or new decisions made regarding online buying to help your audience be a more aware consumer.
20 March – International Day of Happiness
According to Wikipedia – The International day of happiness was conceptualized and founded by Jayme Illien to advance a new paradigm which achieves the UN’s global goals and the happiness, wellbeing, and freedom of all life on earth.
It is observed by all UN member states, so you can either challenge yourself to make a stranger happier or show some kindness to those less fortunate. Celebrate the day of happiness the way you’d like to.
20 March – World Sparrow Day
The world sparrow day is celebrated for raising awareness about the change in our environment affecting common household birds. Some birds are even affected to the point of extinction.
You can research and talk about this and influence your audience to learn about it too!
21 March – World Forestry Day
We don’t need to tell you about the importance of trees in our lives, we hope your biology teacher told you about that. However, when people come together, great things can happen. So, join your hands and try taking action on 21st March to help save our forests.

This day is created to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. It’s a beautiful day and every year organisations celebrate it in numerous ways around the world. The World Poetry Day was declared by UNESCO “with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard”.

22 March – World Water Day
Water is a necessity but we are slowly running out of it. World Water Day is celebrated to help conserve this natural resource and raise awareness about it.
The theme of this year is – ‘Nature and Climate Change’, explore how water and climate change are inextricably linked.
If you are an artist, make-up artist or an animator maybe you can create a piece of work that links to this. If you are a motivational speaker maybe you can inspire people to conserve water. There are several ways you can use your influence for the better of the world.
24 March – World Tuberculosis (TB) Day
World Tuberculosis Day is designed to bring public awareness about the epidemic of tuberculosis. This is the day we can all take steps together to help eliminate the disease.
It is one of the eight official global public health campaigns marked by the World Health Organization (WHO).
As a creator, you can talk about the disease, ways to prevent it or just show compassion towards the people who suffer from it. You can even inspire people to join hands and donate to the organisations working towards it.
27 March – World Theatre Day
The world is but a stage. Every 27th March, that is true almost literally. Celebrate the day by supporting your local theatre group, immerse yourself in a beautiful experience of art and stories.
