According to Wikipedia – “The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), in its resolution UN 68/205 proclaimed 3rd March to be a day to celebrate and raise awareness about the flora and fauna on Earth. It was the day that the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) was adopted in 1973.”
This year’s theme of the day is “Life below Water: for People and Planet”. People in India still throw garbage in oceans and seas, take a step and make a public promise that you, as an individual will not do that. Try and help others not do it too.
3rd March – World Hearing Day
World hearing day is held each year to raise awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss.

It is observed by all UN member states, so you can either challenge yourself to make a stranger happier or show some kindness to those less fortunate. Celebrate the day of happiness the way you’d like to.
20 March – World Sparrow Day
The world sparrow day is celebrated for raising awareness about the change in our environment affecting common household birds. Some birds are even affected to the point of extinction.

21 March – World Forestry Day
